La Terra Dopo La Terra - 13’ (2017)

Gigio, a 90-year-old farmer, has spent his whole life in Monte San Martino, a remote village in southern Marche, Italy. In recent decades the agricultural exodus has left a desert in the area. Nowadays the only remains are abandoned plots of land and ruins. Gigio and his family decided to stay, however his small farm seems destined to follow suit.

The film is an attempt to present the last echoes of a lost world: a bridge between the spiritual values of a pre-industrialised era and those of the restless present.
